Rangers have announced that a Team B derby against Celtic will take place on December 31 at noon in the Scottish Lowland Football League.
Tommy McIntyre’s side have made exciting progress this season with talents like Rocco Vata and Owen Moffat catching the attention of fans with brilliant goals and performances.
One of their toughest tests yet is coming to Hogmanay, with the Rangers selling tickets to the game to their supporters.
The briefs are available to Rangers fans for just £ 10, with concessions for half. He should ensure a healthy crowd at Ibrox but a hostile atmosphere for the Bhoys B team.
It is not clear at this point whether tickets will be made available to Celtic fans given that we weren’t even allowed to take part in the first team derby earlier this season.
Rangers B have also performed well in the Lowland League this term, so it will be a competitive meeting and a good progress marker for McIntyre’s youngsters.
Taking place just two days before Ange Postecoglou comes face to face with Giovanni van Bronckhorst for the first time, the young team could show our senior stars how it goes on derby day.
Hopefully the broadcast information will be available soon as well. It’s a game I absolutely want to see.
In other news, Celtic fans love the locker room footage as the former boss shows off his class.
