liverpooldreams of achieving an unprecedented quadruple remain alive after a thrilling win over Manchester City at Wembley in the FA Cup.

Liverpool blew away their rivals with a scintillating first-half performance that saw them score three goals in an overwhelming display of intensity and style.

Sadio Mane scored twice after Ibrahima Konaté opened the scoring with an imposing header in the opening exchanges.

It was one of the finest first-half displays you could hope to see with the Reds entering the break in absolute dreamland.

Of course, City would show their class in the second half as they raced past Liverpool but, ultimately, demolition in the top 45 proved enough to send Jurgen Klopp’s side over the line.

Although this Liverpool side have made a habit of pulling off the spectacular, it’s safe to say that even their own fans were on cloud nine as they went wild in the London sun.
