Bellehurst offers a family atmosphere, convenience

Bellehurst’s tranquility is known for its neighborhood and spacious homes on large lots.

The Montgomery neighborhood is nestled between Perry Hill Road, Atlanta Highway and the popular County Downs.

Most Bellehurst homes were built between 1958 and 1975, veteran realtor Margie Miller said, adding that ranch is the predominant design style.

“Bellehurst has a wonderful family atmosphere and is convenient for shopping,” Miller said. Publix, Piggly Wiggly and other shops are within a short walk of a Bellehurst address, as are bustling churches and several restaurants.

Public and private schools are located nearby.

A group of newer houses, including some patio designs, have been built at the south end of Bellehurst.

A walk through Bellehurst will reveal landscaped gardens, towering trees, gently sloping grounds, well-maintained homes and a peaceful atmosphere.

An updated Bellehurst home at 337 Mont Vista Drive is for sale for $194,900 and features four bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms in 2,683 square feet of living space.

“Located on a quiet, established street, the home features an updated kitchen and breakfast room, neutral colors in the bathrooms, original hardwood floors, and a covered patio” , Miller said. “The house is move-in ready and perfect for a growing family.”

The one-story house was built in 1964. A new carpet was also installed in the family room.

A large fireplace creates a warm and cozy gathering place for the family. A large living room and dining room combo provides ample space for entertaining.

“The price of the house per square foot is very reasonable,” Miller said.

The three guest bedrooms are spacious with gracious sized closets and large windows for natural light. A bathroom is spacious and practical for guest rooms.

The large master bedroom includes his and hers closets and a private bathroom. A half bath is located just off the laundry room. A carport and extended parking lot provide ample parking.

The house sits on a large flat lot with a fully fenced back yard ideal for children or pets to play safely. A large, custom-built storage building is perfect for housing lawn equipment, tools, and other items.

Magnificent blooming azaleas and camellias welcome visitors in the spring. All entrance doors are secured with bespoke wrought iron gates. A security system has been installed and can be activated by the new owners.
